HEY THERE, new friend.
I'm just a girl from a rural, mountain town in California. I always felt like I was different from everyone else, like nobody else understood me.
It was like I was struggling to fit into a world not built for me—and this constantly made me frustrated with myself.
Everything always felt harder than it should, whether it was school, chores, or relationships. Fast forward to after college, I started working in healthcare. It had always been my dream to help and advocate for others. Then, the pandemic hit and everything changed...
More than half of our staff left their jobs, and for me, that meant shouldering the responsibilities of 4 different people.
I tried hard to cope - always late, stressed, distracted, and struggling to meet deadlines. By the end, I was burned out.
Little did I know that this tough time was calling out my ADHD symptoms, hidden beneath it all.
When I later received my diagnosis in graduate school, I had reached a turning point in my life. The remaining days of my masters degree became much easier. And, I was able to complete my household duties, check things off my list, and develop deeper relationships. Best of all, I found a friend in myself. I learned to love my ADHD quirks and how to work with myself as the authentic, neurodivergent me.
I used this new perspective as fuel to accomplish my life's vision. I trained with the top ICF-accredited coaching program in the country, started my own business, and now I work one-on-one with people like me—burned-out workers and students, adults with ADHD, and those who feel like an underdog.
